PURPOSE
Proverbs 13:22, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,”
Church family, we are so grateful that God has and continues to bless our church with spiritual and numerical growth. Due to our continued need for more space, we will be entering into Building a Legacy, a stewardship capital campaign that will raise funds for us to begin construction on a new multi-purpose gymnasium, renovate our Worship Center, and pay down debt from the addition of The Bridge.
Just like in Proverbs 13:22, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,” we want to invest in the next generation and generations to come. Building a Legacy focuses on this principle, and just like the members of Crossroads 25 years ago, we want to continue the legacy they started to build.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
THE BRIDGE
The Bridge is a temporary measure to meet the immediate need for space needed in our church and our school. The bridge provides six more classroom spaces that will be used as a learning space for our school and as adult education spaces on Sundays and Wednesdays.
FAMILY LIFE CENTER/GYMNASIUM
The gymnasium will also serve the needs of the school and our church. The gymnasium will provide a multi-purpose air-conditioned sports facility for our school. With this space, our school will be able to expand its extra-curricular offerings. The gymnasium will also have a full-service kitchen and will serve several purposes for our church. It will be used for Wednesday Night Dinners, recreational activities, and a worship space during our sanctuary renovation.
WORSHIP CENTER RENOVATION
Part of the Building a Legacy capital campaign includes a renovation of our Worship Center. As you have seen, it is becoming increasingly difficult to meet the space needs on Sunday mornings. With this renovation, we will completely redesign the interior of our Worship Center, which will allow us to use the space more effectively. We will install stadium-style seating, which will help expand the seating capacity of the building. We will also update our lighting, audio-video technology, décor and more!
